St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Phillipsburg, New Jersey
A parish family that WORSHIPS God, CARES for one another and HELPS those in need in the community and beyond

Living into our role as Chrisians, we are called to care for those in need with special attention toward those who are maginalized. At St. Luke's, one of the many ways we live into this aspect of Christian living is through Meals on Wheels. This is actually our longest consecutive outreach ministry, beginning more than 35 years ago!

St. Luke's Church has a longstanding volunteer group that delivers meals to the seniors of the area. This moving outreach follows the motto "So no senior goes hungry."

St. Luke's volunteers take one week approx. every two months. The volunteers meet at the church and go in pairs to deliver the meals with a sense of hope and a smile, to our local seniors. The wonderful recipients of these meals have worked hard in our community and now they need us to help them. Consider volunteering for this ministry.
