Mission Statement
Recognizing that God is the source of all that we are and all that we have, our call is to provide a loving and accepting environment so that we may share, through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s unconditional love with our parish family and the wider community, and to continually nurture and develop our spiritual life through celebration of  prayer, worship, education, and play.

Our History at a Glance
We have a rich past and bright future!

St. Luke's had its beginning in the 1850s. We are a Eucharistically centered parish and represent a cross section of the community, which is suburban and rural, and generally spans the full economic spectrum. Our membership is a diverse group with a wide range of attitudes and opinions. We are very loyal to our parish and we consider ourselves a "family" of faith. We are a vibrant church that has seen a steady growth in membership over the last five or more years. Newcomers often comment that they immediately feel welcome here and we expect to continue that openness and growth. In a time of rapid population expansion, there are a wealth of challenges and opportunities for parish development. We look forward to growing in faith as we meet these challenges.

St. Luke's is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, located at 31 Mulberry St. in Newark, New Jersey 07102. The Diocese of Newark covers most of northern New Jersey. The Anglican Church has been a presence in Newark since 1729.

The Right Reverend Mark Beckwith was installed as our Diocesan Bishop on January 27, 2007. Read more about Bishop Mark and our diocese by clicking HERE.
